How do I find old instructions to my sets?

You can find instructions for your recently purchased sets in the official LEGO website. Just visit LEGO.com Building Instructions and insert the LEGO set number to check if the instructions are available. To see the instructions, you must have Adobe Acrobat on your computer.

If you do not find the instructions, there are some sites where you can find scanned instructions of old LEGO sets. The most important site is Peeron Instruction and Catalog Scans Library (PICSL). Just enter the LEGO set reference number or year and you can find the instruction booklet scans. Due to copyright restrictions, instructions from the last 4 years will not be found here.
